SUMMARY: The Coordinator, Game & Event Entertainment will assist in creating world-class, industry-leading live productions surrounding Vikings home games and tent pole events. This position will serve as the primary day-of contact for Vikings entertainment groups, operations partners, and production vendors, coordinating event day logistics to ensure a seamless experience for our partners and a world-class entertainment product for our fans. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, proactive innovator, and a detail-orientated planner, with a proven ability to thrive in a dynamic live entertainment environment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Proactively plan and communicate event timelines and logistics for Vikings entertainment partners, including parking, ticketing, rehearsals, credentials, meals, dressing rooms, and more. 
  • Assist in the sourcing and scheduling of entertainment i.e. National Anthem, Color Guard, Halftime etc.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and production of feature video stories to be presented during Vikings games and special events. 
  • Serve as a key leader for Vikings gameday field staff, assist the lead Field Producer in live on camera moments during Vikings games and special events. 
  • Work in coordination with Vikings Sales and Partnerships team to effectively and professionally executive events and features related to corporate partners. 
  • Work with stadium operations to advance logistics around gameday activations. Form and execute plans for movements of all key entertainment personnel on a game-by-game basis.
  • Work alongside the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, Viktor mascot program, Flag Runners, and Skol Line (drum line) to form a unified, cohesive, and industry-leading live entertainment group.
  • Responsible for managing merchandise and uniform orders for gameday staff and external entertainment 
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve gameday processes, communication and overall fan experience.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience within a fast-paced event, entertainment, or live production environment.
  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, a related field; or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Detail-orientated, well organized, and a team first attitude
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationship with executives, entertainers, and athletes. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate using multiple methods
  • Willingness to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and game days as needed
