We built the tool we wish
we had years ago.
SportsCareers is the complete job board for the sports industry — aggregating 1,800+ open roles from 150+ MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS teams, league offices, and major sports betting companies into one searchable, daily-updated platform.
Why SportsCareers exists
Like a lot of people, we grew up dreaming about working in sports. Not just watching the games — but being part of the machine behind them. The front offices, the analytics departments, the business side that makes it all run.
So we did what everyone does. We started applying. And that's when we realized something: pursuing a full-time job in sports was a full-time job in itself.
There are hundreds of organizations across MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and the sports betting world — each with their own career page, their own ATS, their own application portal buried three clicks deep on their website. There was no single place to see what was actually out there.
So every week, we'd manually check dozens of team websites. Open 30 tabs. Scroll through Greenhouse boards, Lever pages, Workday portals. Copy-paste job titles into a spreadsheet just to keep track of what we'd already seen. Half the time, a role had been posted for months with no update. The other half, we'd find something perfect — only to realize it had been live for two days and already had 500 applicants.
Even when we did apply, there was no way to know where we stood. No signal. No feedback. Just silence and a "we'll keep your resume on file" auto-reply.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built one.
SportsCareers pulls every open role from 150+ sports organizations into one searchable board — updated daily, with tools to save, track, and share opportunities with your network.
What's on the platform
Every major North American professional league is covered: all 30 MLB teams, all 32 NFL teams, all 30 NBA teams, all 32 NHL teams, all 30 MLS teams, plus the MLB, NFL, and NBA league offices. Beyond traditional pro leagues, we also index roles at major sports betting and prediction market companies — DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics, Underdog Fantasy, PrizePicks, Kalshi, Polymarket, and others.
How it works
SportsCareers is a discovery layer on top of every major applicant tracking system used in sports — Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, Paylocity, Paycom, and others. New roles appear within minutes of being posted on the hiring organization's official career page. Closed roles are automatically removed.
The platform is free to use. Every "Apply" button redirects to the hiring organization's actual application form — SportsCareers does not host applications, collect resumes, or insert itself between candidates and employers.
Who built it
SportsCareers was founded in 2026 after a year of personal job searching in the sports industry made the gap impossible to ignore. The site is built and maintained as an independent project.
What's next
No more 30-tab Tuesdays. No more spreadsheets. No more wondering if you missed a posting because you forgot to check one team's career page.
We're building this for every person who's ever sat in the stands and thought "I want to be part of this" — and deserves a real shot at making it happen.
