The Crown Is Yours

As a Paralegal, you’ll provide critical support to our Commercial Transactions Legal Team as we help drive DraftKings’ continued growth across domestic and global markets. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner closely with attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders to support commercial agreements, streamline legal operations, and build scalable processes that keep the business moving forward. You’ll play a key role in improving efficiency across the team by managing documentation, supporting transactions, and helping develop knowledge management systems that make legal resources more accessible and effective. Working alongside our Vice President & Associate General Counsel and broader Legal Team, you’ll contribute to high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

What you’ll do as a Paralegal

  • Support DraftKings’ commercial transactions, including assisting with the drafting and negotiation of agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, promotion terms, and contest rules.

  • Assist with our insurance function, including preparing coverage applications and related schedules or supplements.

  • Facilitate and oversee the agreement execution process.

  • Act as an operations specialist to help keep the Commercial Transactions team organized and running efficiently.

  • Design and implement knowledge management systems to ensure legal standards are easily accessible and up to date for stakeholders.

  • Maintain an accurate database of approved agreement templates, clauses, and intake questionnaires, ensuring version control and audit trails.

  • Organize and store executed commercial agreements for easy retrieval.

  • Support additional projects and tasks, as assigned.

 

What you’ll bring   

  • At least 4 years of transactional paralegal experience; prior in-house experience at a public company is a plus.

  • Strong business and solutions-oriented judgment with the ability to identify practical approaches to resolving issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems independently.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience using DocuSign, LinkSquares, or similar contract lifecycle management platforms is a plus, along with a passion for supporting a rapidly growing industry.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is 44.62 USD - 55.77 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
