ABOUT THE ROLE

AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Talent Acquisition to lead enterprise-wide recruiting efforts across the Blank Family of Businesses (BFOB). This leader will oversee the full talent acquisition function, driving innovative, scalable, and high-touch white-glove recruitment strategies to attract top talent at every level of the organization.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR Operations and Shared Services, this exceptional relationship builder will lead a team of three talent acquisition professionals while serving as a strategic advisor to leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) across the BFOB. This role will optimize recruiting operations, enhance candidate and hiring manager experience, implement best-in-class technologies and processes, and directly lead talent searches for senior leadership roles. The Director of TA will also lead large-scale staffing events and campaigns, early career program recruitment, and workforce planning initiatives.

This fully onsite role is based at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Local travel within the greater Atlanta area is required; occasional travel to Montana may occur as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition Strategy and Leadership

  • Lead and execute the BFOB talent acquisition strategy across multiple companies and brands.
  • Develop scalable recruiting programs, processes, and workforce planning strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executives and business leaders on talent market trends, organizational hiring needs, and recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance, service-oriented recruiting function focused on operational excellence and candidate experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals.

Executive and Corporate Recruiting

  • Personally lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for senior leadership positions, including executive-level roles.
  • Partner closely with executives and hiring managers to define talent profiles, assess organizational needs, and execute targeted strategies.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and critical business roles.

Talent Acquisition Operations and Process Optimization

  • Evaluate, streamline, and improve recruiting workflows, systems, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Lead the proposal, implementation, and/or optimization of recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, automation solutions, and analytics capabilities.
  • Establish and monitor recruiting KPIs, dashboards, and service-level expectations.
  • Create scalable interview, assessment, and selection processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and hiring quality.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, hiring regulations, and organizational policies.

Hiring Events and Workforce Initiatives

  • Lead enterprise hiring initiatives, including large-scale event-day staff Draft Days, on-and off-site job fairs, and early career programs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Stadium Leadership and HRBPs to support workforce planning for major events and sports seasons.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies and community partnerships to support high-volume recruiting efforts.
  • Leverage employer branding to develop recruitment marketing initiatives that strengthen organizational visibility and talent attraction.

Stakeholder and Candidate Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and partnership to hiring managers, executives, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization through responsiveness, professionalism, and strategic partnership.
  • Champion a recruiting culture centered on hospitality, communication, and service excellence.
  • Ensure an exceptional, white-glove experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience
  • 3+ years managing teams, preferably recruiters and recruiting operations teams
  • Deep knowledge of talent acquisition operations, systems, and best practices
  • Proven success recruiting senior-level talent
  • Experience supporting both corporate and high-volume hourly hiring environments
  • Strong knowledge of ATS systems, sourcing platforms (including LinkedIn), and recruiting technologies
  • Demonstrated experience implementing recruiting process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Strong understanding of employment law and recruiting compliance practices
  • Experience leading process improvement and technology implementation initiatives
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days as needed

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Workday experience
  • Experience implementing AI technology into recruitment practices
  • Experience leading recruiting strategy within sports, entertainment, hospitality, live events, or similarly fast-paced industries
  • Prior experience as an HR Business Partner and/or in employee relations a plus
